Honey and Bees
How do bees turn up the A/C?
Bees keep their hive close to 94F which is optimal for raising brood (baby bees). One of the ways they maintain this temperature is by fanning at the entrance to the hive to circulate air as the bees above are doing. They will also bring water into the hive to provide evaporative cooling. They are experts at managing airflow and bees will be assigned to A/C duty as needed to maintain hive temperatures.
